IBS FIRST-TIME ATTENDEE SCHOLARSHIP

 NAHB’s International Builders’ Show® (IBS) gives NAHB members the opportunity to discover solutions, explore the latest industry trends, and connect in person with leading residential construction professionals and thought leaders. The show features new product launches, construction demonstrations, networking opportunities, and high-quality educational programs.

The REF recognizes the value of attending IBS and, to encourage first-time attendance and help offset the cost of participation, offers up to four scholarships each year to eligible NYSBA members who have never attended IBS. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications are now open through December 4, 2026. Because scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, eligible members are encouraged to apply early.

For 2027 IBS, four scholarships of up to $1,500 each are available. Recipients may be reimbursed for eligible expenses incurred in connection with attending IBS, upon submission of the required documentation and receipts. Eligible expenses may include airfare, hotel accommodations, cab fare, and personal meals. Reimbursement checks will be made payable to the individual recipient, not the company.

REF scholarship funds may not be used to reimburse expenses that have already been covered or reimbursed by another source.
